Jade and Hayden

Are Getting Married!

The Future Mr & Mrs Minns-Cain

Jade
About Jade
The snuggly, mischievous and quick-witted paladin

Always causing trouble, Jade is not one to be found sitting around waiting for things to happen. Jade adores watching Hayden thrive in all his nerdy glory and takes immeasurable pride in helping Hayden celebrate and improve his recording abilities.

About Hayden
The cheeky, funny and goofy bard

Occasionally scatter brained, Hayden can usually be seen staring off into some distant land full of fairies and beholders. However, his attention always wanders back to Jade and her brightness; both of colour palette and character.

About the Bridal Party

Jack Fernley, Best Man

Jack met Hayden when playing Warhammer at Games Workshop. Being autistic, Jack sometimes find it difficult to start conversations, so having someone like Hayden to nerd out with over all things Warhammer, Dungeons and Dragons and video games has been amazing. They have spent many hours playing various games and always enjoy a healthy competition.

As the Best Man, Jack will be found taking care of Hayden; making sure he gets to the altar on time; making sure his shoelaces are done up and ensuring Hayden has not forgotten Jade's ring! At the end of the night, Jack will most likely be found playing D&D with Jamie in the Billiards room.

Robert Force-Jones, Maid of Honour

Jade and Robert were in the same friend group since year 8, but they barely interacted and Jade even thought that Rob and Tyler, another tertiary friend, were the same person until about year 11. However, when presented with an A-Level maths classroom full of obnoxious boys, Jade figured that sitting with Rob was the best option and they haven't been far apart since. Jade and Rob have been an unstoppable duo for many years, and one of the best moments from their time in sixth form was probably the rainbow cupcakes Jade baked for Rob on his 18th birthday - they were very pretty.

As Maid of Honour, Jade has instructed Robert that panicking and being stressed is his job and not hers, although he will certainly panic with a degree of elegance. Rob is likely going to be rather overstimulated by the end of the night, so if you find him curled up in a quiet space somewhere away from the noise, he may bite. You have been warned.

Jamie Cheeseman, Groomsman

Jamie met Hayden at Kingsdown school but got to know him a few years later when they met again under a shared interest in Dungeons and Dragons which Hayden introduced the group to. Hayden later brought Jade to the party and everyone soon got to bond over their love of the game.  Jamie thinks that both Jade and Hayden are lovely people; evident to anyone who’s spent any amount of time in their company. Both Hayden and Jade go great lengths to look after people well and are incredibly accommodating. Friends like that aren’t easy to find, also Hayden is a great Dungeon Master and DMs of any calibre are hard to find.

During the wedding day, Jamie will be enjoying the food, nerding out with the  guests and ensuring the bride and groom are having an excellent memorable time. However, by the end of the night, nobody will be able to stop Jamie from setting up a D&D session in the billiards room and has asked interested guests to bring a character sheet. Jade says it's fine XD

Peter Cresswell, Bridesmaid

Peter and Jade met in Sixth Form by accidentally bumbling together in the common room. Potentially through the use of Charm Person, or just a Maths class, they ended up friends and could ramble on about Dungeons & Dragons 'til the Tarrasques come home. Across the many planes of existence, there is not one where Peter does not find Jade endlessly compassionate and is not one of her best friends. However, this is likely due to the fact that Apollo is a constant throughout said planes.

Breathing is high up on Peter's list to do throughout the wedding day; although he may find that he needs to remind Jade to do the same as she nears the altar. Peter will also be trying to divert as much of Jade's worrying as possible and taking plenty of pictures. Nearing the end of the evening, Peter will probably be polishing off any remaining nibbles. But, there is an equal probability that Peter will have succumbed to his country-boy urge to explore Orchardleigh in the dark, getting thoroughly muddled in the process. Please return to Jade if lost.

Eryk Pabianczyk, Groomsman

Eryk and Hayden have been friends since Secondary school, where they met while standing around outside the IT classrooms. Eryk also introduced Jade and Hayden in the form of their Dungeons & Dragons characters. Hayden's Drokk met Jade's Bertha in a spooky forest which Eryk designed within his D&D world. Hayden and Eryk have now been friends for around a decade and attribute their long-lasting friendship to the fact that they are both nerds who like nerd stuff.

On the wedding day, Eryk will likely be found reminding Jack to remind Hayden about things they have almost certainly forgotten. By the end of the night, he will either be hiding in a quiet room or running through a field; there is no in-between. Although, as Eryk would gladly tell you, he is not a seer so cannot say for certain.

Jade and Hayden's Honeymoon

As we have now been living together for a few years, there is not much we could ask for that we do not already have. Because of this, we respectfully request no gifts at our wedding.

However, if you would like to help us with our honeymoon, that would be greatly appreciated! We are, of course, going back to France!

We have listed some examples of activities we plan to get up to on our honeymoon, as well as some more practical things, so if you would like to get us a gift, please select 'Contribute Now' and let us know what you would like to purchase in the message box.
